Dorothy finished her schooling from Kohima, and graduated with a B.A. degree from Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi. She received a Diploma in Computer Application from National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT), New Delhi. She has also completed her Diploma in Elementary Education from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and has cleared the Nagaland Teacher Eligibility Test from SCERT.

Dorothy has been working professionally since 2014, She completed her internship at a Digital Writing Agency called BoostNet, New Delhi and worked there as their Content Writer/Developer for a year. She then moved into Digital Marketing at Gold VIP Technologies, Gurgaon.

Dorothy moved back home to Kohima, Nagaland in the year 2016 to pursue a career in teaching. She taught at Little Flower Hr Sec School, Kohima for eight years.

Dorothy is currently working as a District Program Coordinator. She is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the implementation of DEP within Mon district in Nagaland. She is working with local government officials and other stakeholders to ensure the program’s objectives are achieved.
