NAGA
NagaEd, founded by Kevisato Sanyü and Shiroi Lily Shaiza, aims to improve education in frontier tribal and indigenous markets by delivering quality courseware, teacher training, and digital learning infrastructure. Extensive research revealed significant barriers such as limited access to digital resources and resistance to digital education. Since 2021, NagaEd has grown significantly, securing pre-seed investments from Australia, Singapore, and domestically, becoming the first Naga company to receive Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The company raised a USD 2.5 million valuation seed round and achieved 300% user growth year-on-year. Strategic partnerships include NITI Aayog, NSDMA, and the Department of School Education (DSE). NagaEd has received accolades such as the TiE50 Award, Silicon Valley and the CII DX Award for “Best Practice in Digital Transformation.” NagaEd’s innovative and community-focused approach positions it as a leading force in transforming education in Nagaland.
