Purpose of the Position

NagaEd is seeking a motivated and creative Digital Content Developer to join our Instructional Design Unit. This role focuses on creating high-quality digital learning content through strong writing, storytelling, and basic visual design.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in content development, graphic design, communications, or education. While prior exposure to instructional design is not mandatory, a willingness to learn and apply learner-centered design principles is essential.

You will work closely with subject matter experts, designers, and project managers to create engaging digital learning experiences for clients across sectors including education, workforce development, and social impact.

Organisational Unit Function

As a Digital Content Developer, you will:

  • Develop engaging learning content including scripts, modules, assessments, and digital activities
  • Assist in shaping course structure, flow, and learner experiences
  • Create supporting visual assets using Canva, Adobe tools, or equivalent
  • Collaborate with team members to storyboard, draft, and edit course content
  • Prepare content for different learning formats: digital, hybrid, and instructor-led
  • Support video scripting and assist in production when required
  • Contribute to client-facing presentations and learning deliverables
  • Maintain quality standards and conduct reviews to improve user experience
  • Participate in internal learning on instructional design practices and apply them progressively in your work
  • Efficiently coordinate projects to deliver high-quality digital content on time
  • Continuously assess the implementation of course design standards in the content development process and gather feedback to drive iterative improvements

Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Graphic Design, English, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in content development, digital communications, or training content
  • Strong writing and editing skills, especially for digital formats
  • Familiarity with basic visual design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Willingness to learn learning design methods and digital learning principles
  • Good time management and attention to detail.
