Marketing Strategist

Job Title: Marketing Strategist
Project: Hillywood Fiesta
Reports To : PMO Director / Ecosystem Lead
Location: Northeast India (Travel Required)
Contract Duration: 6-8 months
Employment Type: Project-Based Contract

Purpose of the Position

The Marketing Strategist will be responsible for marketing strategy, influencer coordination & onboarding, driving awareness, audience growth, engagement, and conversion across the entire Hillywood Fiesta ecosystem. This role serves as the primary bridge between BluPrint, Hillywood, marketing agencies, media partners, influencers, PR partners, and audience-facing channels.
While external agencies may execute campaigns, this role is responsible for ensuring all marketing activities align with project objectives, strategy, and audience growth targets. This is not a social media management role — it is a strategic audience growth and campaign management role.

Organisational Unit Function

The Marketing Strategist will:

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management (Primary Function)

  • Assist in developing and executing the overall marketing strategy across all phases of Hillywood Fiesta — from auditions through to the Grand Finale.
  • Coordinate campaign execution across all project phases, ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and communication.
  • Monitor campaign performance and audience engagement, providing regular insights and optimisation recommendations.
  • Develop and support audience acquisition and retention initiatives across all touchpoints.
  • Ensure all marketing activities are tracked against agreed targets and delivered within a timeline.

Agency & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between BluPrint and all external marketing agencies and media partners.
  • Brief agencies and external partners clearly on project objectives, campaign requirements, and audience targets.
  • Review deliverables and campaign outputs against agreed briefs, and provide structured feedback to ensure quality.
  • Track campaign timelines and agency performance, escalating delays or quality issues to the PMO Director when required.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all external marketing partners throughout the project lifecycle.

Audience Growth & Engagement

  • Drive awareness campaigns across Northeast India targeting potential participants, audiences, and OTT subscribers.
  • Build audience engagement strategies for each project phase — before, during, and after the bootcamp and events.
  • Develop initiatives that encourage audience participation, community building, and ongoing engagement.
  • Monitor audience sentiment and engagement trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

OTT & Subscription Growth Support

  • Support HillyPix subscription growth campaigns — coordinating audience conversion initiatives around key project milestones.
  • Assist with campaign planning tied to episode releases and OTT content rollout schedules.
  • Monitor audience engagement and retention performance across OTT channels.
  • Support the development and execution of growth strategies linked to HillyPix subscription objectives.

Influencer & PR Coordination

  • Coordinate influencer partnerships — managing communications, deliverables, and performance against agreed terms.
  • Support media and PR initiatives, including interview coordination, press features, and promotional opportunities.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with regional creators, media personalities, and media partners.
  • Ensure influencer and PR activity remains aligned with overall brand messaging and project narrative.

Content & Communication Coordination

  • Coordinate campaign content requirements — working with creative teams to ensure all marketing needs are met on time.
  • Support social media planning and campaign scheduling in collaboration with content teams and agencies.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with audience objectives and campaign goals before publication.
  • Maintain a content and campaign asset repository for all phases of the project.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track key campaign metrics across all channels and phases, and maintain a live performance dashboard.
  • Prepare weekly marketing reports for PMO leadership with insights, highlights, and recommended actions.
  • Monitor audience growth, engagement, and OTT conversion performance throughout the project.
