Alen Phom was introduced to “NagaEd,” where she could study new knowledge and share ideas as a full-time Learning Designer, while having very minimal technical experience and only her curiosity as her confidante.
Alen previously spent three years and five months working as a higher secondary teacher in Kohima, which provided her a deeper understanding of what the future holds. During her brief tenure as a teacher, she came to see the potential of a person who receives a good education. She saw education as more than just getting good grades; it was about transforming a person from the ground up. As a result, Alen, assisted by a fantastic team from NagaEd, is on a mission to improve the current educational system and foster inquisitive thinking in students through the teaching process, with a desire to improve the educational system in Nagaland and beyond
Alen’s main responsibility as a learning designer is to produce interesting and interactive digital content for students .Alen’s role also includes creating and running a functional ecosystem that supports the organization’s goals and identifying the finest tools that will help the team produce digital content.
