As the Social Media Manager at NagaEd, you will be the driving force behind our brand’s presence across various social media platforms. Your role will involve crafting compelling content, engaging with our community, and developing strategies that enhance our brand’s online visibility and audience engagement. Your creative insights and strategic thinking will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital narrative and driving the growth of our social media footprint.

Organisational Unit Function

The Social Media Manager will work within the Marketing Department, collaborating closely with the Content, Design, and Digital Marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and effective online brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand’s goals, increases our online presence, and enhances user engagement.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging, creative, and brand-aligned content for our social media channels, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor, moderate, and respond to audience comments; manage social media partnerships with other brands; and cultivate a community atmosphere.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics tools to track performance metrics, analyze data, and create reports to inform strategy adjustments and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns that effectively promote our brand, products, and services, ensuring alignment with our overall marketing strategy.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with strong analytical abilities.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
